Movement 10: Step Back to Repulse Monkey

Movement:

  1. Starting position is the end position from Under Elbow Blow.
  2. Shift weight to right leg and lift left toes up. Turn right palm down and pull it back to the waist. Bring the left hand up and push it forward. Arm and leg positions are the same as previous d with right and left interchanged.
  3. Bring the left foot near the body. Begin to bring the right hand up. Turn the left palm up and bring it down to the waist.
  4. Step back with your left foot out 45°. Shift weight to the left leg and lift your right toes up. Push the right hand forward, palm out, and pull the left hand to the waist, palm up.

End Position: Left foot turns out 45° and right foot rests on heel. Right hand extends forward with palm out and left hand is along waist with palm up.
