Movement 11: Slanted Palms Flying

Movement:

  1. Starting position is the end position from Step Back to Repulse the Monkey.
  2. Turn left foot and body 45°. Bring right foot near left foot with toes pointing out 45°, and bring both hands in front of the body with the left wrist above the right wrist. Shift weight to the left leg.
  3. Step 45° toward the right. Shift weight to both legs with bent knees.
  4. Sweep arms outward, raising the right arm to shoulder height and the left arm to hip level with palms facing back.

End Position: Both feet turn out 45° and knees are bent. Extend both arms along sides, slanted, with palms facing back.
