Movement 12: Full Sequence with Grand Tai Chi

This is the complete sequence of the 12 Tai Chi movements taught in this class.

Movement:

  1. Starting position is the end position from Right and Left Grasp the Bird's Tail.
  2. Turn the body 45° right and move the left foot near the right foot with toes pointing forward and feet parallel. Shift the weight so that it's even on both legs. Lower the arms in front of the body with wrists crossed and palms facing up; knees are slightly bent.
  3. Open the arms and raise the hands up and out slowly to temple height (define temple height).
  4. Close the eyes. Turn palms down and lower the arms slowly and evenly to the sides.

End Position: Feet are parallel, hands along the sides, and knees bent slightly.
