Your Tai Chi Masters

Master Martin Lee, born in Canton, China. Dr. Lee graduated with High Honors in Electrical Engineering from UC Berkeley earning a BS in 1960. In 1967, he received a PhD from Stanford University. Although much of his lifelong work has been dedicated to science study, Dr. Lee has through the years managed to integrate his western knowledge with his eastern heritage, spanning the study of ancient Chinese philosophy and martial arts, including Tai Chi and Ch'i Kung.

Master Emily Lee, born in Fujian, China. While attending UC Berkeley, Emily's studies were concentrated on mathematics and chemistry. In 1968, she began formal training in Tai Chi and Pa Kua with Grand Master Kuo Lien-Ying and discovered her true passion for Martial Arts and teaching.

The Lees have combined their knowledge of Tai Chi, Ch'i Kung and meditation to develop a state-of-the-art method to learn and practice Tai Chi. They have taught their "Do-No-Extra" method at Stanford University, De Anza College, and Palo Alto Community Center to thousands of students.

Martin and Emily Lee are the founders of the Tai Chi Cultural Center (http://www.taichiculturalcenter.com). The primary goal of this project is to help people achieve better health, healing, happiness and harmony. You can e-mail Martin and Emily Lee at leestaichi@aol.com.
