some people, preserving and taking time for themselves may be one of the most difficult components
of this program. It is absolutely essential that you set aside time for yourself. The idea of setting
aside time for yourself in a busy schedule may seem selfish at first. In reality, by setting this
time aside you are also making yourself healthier and more productive for the others that depend
on you.
Although it may seem hard at first, you should
leave at least 30 minutes for yourself each day. This is in addition to time already
allotted for other "self-maintenance,"
such as a lunch break. We will revisit the importance of this later in this step and the next one.
