Setting Up a Routine

If you’ve been walking regularly, you’ve probably found that exercise is a great natural tranquilizer as well as an energy booster. Consider adding more physical activity to your daily life. For example, you might join a health club where you may get social support as well as training, if you want it, and a place to exercise, come rain or shine.

To begin and maintain an exercise routine, you should be sure to:

  • set moderate goals that are a small step outside your comfort zone
  • stop when you need to
  • make and protect time for exercise
