New Stepping Out with Stanford!
Your step-by-step guide to 10,000 steps a day.
Stepping Out with Stanford is a ten-week walking program that uses pedometers, step journals, e-mail coaching, and a website tracking log to gradually raise the level of physical activity you incorporate into your daily life. There is a $25 class fee that includes a pedometer, a step booklet, website tracking, and e-mail coaching. (Note: membership to HPRC website does not include this program). (10 week on-line program)

T'ai Chi for Health and Wellness

T'ai Chi is a slow-motion martial art that can build agility, strength, and balance and reduce stress. This on-line class will teach you twelve basic T'ai Chi movements, and show you how to incoporate them into a regular exercise routine. (Twelve movements)
